Formscan By Gary Carson - LADY BLUEBIRD got tired late on when trying to force the pace on her jumping debut at Punchestown in late January and can strike now in a slightly weaker race. She fought it out with a smart mare in Bioluminescence from a long way out then before fading in the straight to finish fifth. With that run under her belt the Retirement Plan mare, a bumper winner at the Kildare venue previously, can open her hurdling account now. She had Cooltubrid Eva behind in sixth last time and is fancied to confirm that form even with a penalty this time. Pallas Athene has been a touch disappointing since a good effort at Punchestown in mid-January but can't be discounted in this company.
