Formscan By Tom Weekes - CLASSIC GETAWAY was pulled up having made an early blunder in last month's Leopardstown Chase. Placed fourth at Grade 1 level last April and today's top adjusted-rated runner, his two runs in November and January were fine efforts, is readily forgiven his Leopardstown run and should be suited by this stamina test. Stablemate Adamantly Chosen has twice finished second at Grade 1 level and while he finished seventh in the Leopardstown Chase, was well enough held. He is still just a seven-year-old but hasn't won since October 2022 and his best form has been over middle-distances. Diol Ker has been well beaten in big recent handicaps, with his rating now in decline, while Roi Mage disappointed behind the selection at Tramore on New Year's Day, having previously won at Compiegne in November. He finished seventh in the Aintree National last April and is suited by these stamina tests. Now Where Or When ran ok in a recent Listed handicap chase but faces a tougher task. Mr Incredible is declared to run in the Midlands National at Uttoxeter on Saturday while Longhouse Poet is declared to run at Thurles on Saturday.
