Formscan By Tom Weekes - STOCKDALE has been running well and contests a weak handicap. She has won just once from 19 runs but is dependable at this level and is suited by soft ground and this distance. She finished three lengths behind today's rival Jacenry on a course run on St Stephen's Day but that was her first run for 613 days and should turn placings. Jacenry might himself improve a little from that handicap debut. Homebred Golden Nugget has yet to show anything exciting but ran ok at Navan in December and might progress. Shes Some Doll has been out of sorts over fences recently and reverts to hurdling for the first time since winning a claiming hurdle in July 2022. Handicap debutante Pralognan should fare best of these in time but hasn't run over hurdles for 15 months, is absent since last June and would prefer better ground. Ballycairn has been well beaten in two runs this season but in the past was a capable type. Makaela's Choice is declared to run at Thurles on Saturday.
