Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - GLENCAIRN VIEW might provide a little bit of value here. I was in Ballinaboola when the chestnut finished second in a second point-to-point, on outing number two, in January 2016. It was on to one of my favourite spots then, Belharbour, and though I wasn't in attendance by all accounts Tony Mullins' charge did it well in the hands of Derek O'Connor in February 2016. The Flemensfirth gelding has done okay on the racecourse proper since, but there should be more to come as chasing will be his game. Off a long break Glencairn View ran well at Clonmel the last day. Owned and bred by the McCarthys at The Beeches Stud in Lismore, the selection is likely to be primed for a big performance now with in-form Danny Mullins up.
