Formscan By Alan Magee - TRUSTYOURINSTINCT was scoring for the second time at Group 3 level when landing the International Stakes over this trip on Irish Derby weekend at the Curragh. The Joseph O’Brien-trained gelding was a shade disappointing subsequently over 1m4f here last month but on the balance of form looks the one to beat. Acapulco Bay finished in front of the selection in that Leopardstown Group 3 and has been generally consistent this year at around 1m4f, while Shaool has progressed well in handicaps this year and deserves a chance in this grade after landing the valuable Northfields Handicap over this trip at the Curragh last month.
