Formscan By Alan Magee - TELECON has been lightly raced since winning over course and distance on the Irish Grand National card last year and ran a cracker when reappearing at Down Royal last time. The Mark Fahey-trained gelding was very weak in the market but finished well to take third behind Kala Conti despite meeting some interference and making a mistake at the last. Volantis is also a course winner and rates a serious threat having overcome plenty of trouble in running when successful last time at the Galway Festival. So Scottish is quite versatile in terms of trip and has also been absent since narrowly denied over 2m6f at Galway this summer, while Washington overcame a lengthy absence when successful on his first start for Harry Derham at Chepstow.
