Formscan By Alan Magee - The mile handicap won by Global Energy at Listowel last month looks a key piece of form in the context of this race as the Sheila Lavery-trained gelding beat ORANDI by under a length with Monasterboice back in third. The selection won on soft ground at the Curragh in May and continued a consistent run of form when again second at Naas last weekend, while the booking of Sam Coen leaves him on a nice racing weight. Alessia Fernanda was unlucky in running when bidding to follow up a Cork win again over a mile at the Curragh earlier this month, but has a lot more on her plate now off this revised rating.
