The Buck’s Boum gelding beat a good field over course and distance here 16 days ago. He had done well to win over two-and-a-half miles at Fairyhouse previously but really comes into his own with a stiffer test of stamina. The obvious danger is Blaze The Way, who also blossomed when stepped up in trip at Cheltenham last month. He beat a strong field in good style then in handicap company and should be a big player now in this grade.
