Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Coeur Sublime grew his fan base in a big way when impressing at Down Royal at the start of November. If beating Coko Beach and Triplicate by fifteen lengths and eleven lengths wasn’t enough, it was the way the Elusive Pimpernel gelding flicked over his hurdles that had observers waxing lyrically. However KLASSICAL DREAM could bounce back after the Morgiana Hurdle disappointment. His jumping wasn’t that of a Champion Hurdle aspirant then. Twice a course and distance winner here, Klassical Dream is expected to be a lot sharper now. Paul Townend said recently: “I am sure that his run in the Morgiana Hurdle will bring him on, but leaving there I was disappointed to get beat. In saying that, Saldier proved the good horse he is and he was in the process of running a huge race against Espoir D’Allen when he fell at Naas last season. On his day, he is a very good horse but so is Klassical Dream. Sharjah is there as well and Willie’s horses are improving a lot for their first runs back this season. It was his and Saldier’s first run in open company, and hopefully there is a lot of improvement to come from him.” Apple’s Jade is in here on Saturday too. In truth you could envisage any of these at least hitting the frame.
