The selection, a son of Shantou, won over two miles at Punchestown the last day, but two and a half could suit him even better here. He’s only a five-year-old, and there’s likely more to come from the well-related youngster. Happenings in the market should be informative and there are no less than nine handicap first timers vying for the prize. Surely the connections of some of them view their opening mark as attractive.
