Formscan By John O'Riordan - LADY ARWEN didn't enjoy the best of runs when third here earlier in the week but can gain compensation granted a more favourable passage. The James Barrett trained filly finished strongly over 7f on that occasion, so shouldn't have an issue stepping up to a mile here. Eighty Eight was runner-up to the Barrett filly at Gowran in May but returned to that same venue to put up a much more impressive performance last month. Although only third at Down Royal last time, the race was not run to suit the Johnny Murtagh trained gelding as he was forced to make his own running. He should be dangerous coming from off the pace here. Three Laws merits consideration on her handicap debut, while dual winner Arch Enemy is not without a chance.
