Formscan By Alan Magee - Gordon Elliott has a great line on juvenile hurdle form and, with such a strong hand at present, it looks significant that he just relies on QUILIXIOS in this Grade 1 event. The selection won easily on his only hurdle start in France and has been equally impressive on both outings for current connections including when making all to beat Varna Gold by all of 20 lengths at Down Royal. Youmdor is the choice of Paul Townend from three stable runners and, having won easily on his Irish debut at Gowran Park, looked set to follow up at Fairyhouse last month when falling at the last. Busselton, Ha D’or and Saint Sam are all closely enough matched judged on running behind Zanahiyr in a Grade 2 here at Christmas.
