Formscan By Alan Magee - It’s great to see such a large turnout for this Grade 1 event, although all eyes will be on APPRECIATE IT following his impressive victory over course and distance at Christmas. The Jeremy gelding was top class in bumpers last season and has taken well to hurdles beating Master McShee in a Cork maiden before drawing clear in the straight for that impressive victory over Irascible, Keskonrisk and Ballyadam here in a Grade 1. Ballyadam may prove the chief threat of those rivals as the Elliott yard was under a bit of a cloud at the time and he previously beat Cask Mate in the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse. Blue Lord raced keenly when runner-up to Bob Olinger at Naas and may be better suited by this shorter trip.
