The Flemensfirth gelding prevailed in a tight finish with Melbourne Shamrock at Fairyhouse in mid-December and looked like he would only improve from that experience. It was just his third career outing and he only really looked to be hitting his stride going to the line then over three miles. He holds an entry in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham, as does Timesareachanging. Andy Slattery’s charge was a good winner at Navan last month and looks like another stout stayer. Rebel Budz was a convincing winner over this trip at Cork early last month and that form has been boosted since. He’s another for the shortlist.%0A%0A
