Formscan By Gary Carson - MADNESS D’ELLE was turned over at a short price on his Irish debut but should gain compensation now. The French-import found Kilmeaden too strong at Punchestown last month but it was still a solid effort. The winner was slightly disappointing in a hot rated hurdle at Naas recently but is a smart sort on his day. Killaney King sets the standard off his mark of 121. He was well beaten in handicap company at Navan last time but on the pick of his form he’s a big player. It was a poor effort from Doctor Elvis on his return at Naas recently but he may improve from that outing.
