FormscanBy Tom Weekes - REAL APPEAL won the 2021 renewal and while now a six-year-old and well beaten on a recent run, retains plenty ability. Generally dependable, he finished fourth in a valuable Doha local-Group-2 race in February and was unsuited by soft ground when beaten 10 lengths by Power Under Me on reappearance here last month and will have had today as a target. Course and distance winner Mutasarref was well enough held at Naas recently but should also improve from that reappearance run, albeit he steps into Group company for the first time. Ocean Jewel is the top adjusted-rated runner (by 1lb from Mutasarref) and while her recent Naas run was an improved effort, she steps up to this distance for the first time wearing a hood against vastly more experienced rivals. Agartha likes this distance and is race-fit but might bump into a few too strong. Power Under Me would have strong claims if the ground turned soft but no rain is forecast.
