Formscan By Alan Magee - SAY IT SO really struck form last year winning four times (2 Flat/2 hurdles) including over this course and distance in October. The Eric McNamara-trained gelding hasn’t shown too much since returning on the Flat, but he still looks nicely treated over hurdles. Calum Hogan is good value for his 7lb claim and market support would add to confidence. The Banger Doyle is rated significantly lower over hurdles than his chase mark and he had Star Official and Miss Maxfort behind when runner-up in a similar event at Tipperary last time. Whispering Hopes was still in contention when falling two out on her last hurdle start, while Granpa Ger and Ballyearl are others for the shortlist in an open affair.
