Formscan By Mark Nunan - FLYING DOLPHIN played his part in a memorable 1-2-3 for Johnny Murtagh in the Northfields Handicap at the Curragh on Irish Champions Weekend. The Zoffany gelding had been off a couple of months before finishing third to Kerkiyra and should come on a bit for the run. His only previous try over this trip saw him finish a fine fifth in a Royal Ascot handicap. One Cool Poet made up a lot of ground in the straight in a premier handicap at Leopardstown having won well over hurdles the time before. Empyrea won a maiden over this trip at last year’s festival and is interesting with the stable in much better form than it was when she was unplaced twice in May. Fozzy Stack likes to have winners at Listowel and if the forecast rain arrives, it will help the chances of his pair, Pita Pinta and Ruler Legend.
