The full-sister to her trainer’s St Leger winner Galileo Chrome can progress enough to go one place better here. War Correspondent is not the easiest of rides but a reproduction of his close third in a Galway handicap would see him go close. He needs to leave behind a couple of disappointing efforts since then. Forever And Always, very likely to improve from her first run of the year which saw her finish fourth at Galway earlier this month, may fare better than Ballydoyle stablemate Oh So Lovely. Marvelosa made good late headway when fourth at the Curragh in June but hasn’t been seen since.
