Formscan By Alan Magee - Stamina is obviously at a premium in this qualifier for the Final at the Cheltenham Festival in March, and GLENLOE will not be found lacking in that department. The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding doesn’t do anything in a hurry but has run well on both handicap outings this term, and will relish the step up to three miles. He filled the runner-up spot behind Red Devil Lads at Navan last time, and is weighted to reverse those places. Emmet Mullins has done a great job rejuvenating Red Devil Lads who enjoyed himself in front at Navan, while Mon Lino also ran well to take third in that event. Isleofhopendreams is another interesting contender having run just twice, including when beating Oscar Sam at Punchestown, since runner-up in this race 12 months ago. Benkei still remains on a decent mark over hurdles considering his ability on the Flat, while others to consider include Ashbury Boss and Mount Hanover.
