Formscan By Mark Nunan - WESTERN VICTORY faces a couple of high-profile chasers but Declan Queally’s admirable performer may be able to gain her sixth win over hurdles. She made all to win over 2m at Gowran in October and lost little in defeat when third at Punchestown last month. She was touched off over 2m7f at Galway during the summer so this trip should be within her compass. 2019 Irish Grand National winner Burrows Saint was last seen when finishing fourth to Minella Times in the Grand National in April. The ground was too heavy for him when he was well beaten in this race last year and he’s likely to go close even though bigger targets lie ahead. Pencilfulloflead won a Grade 2 as a novice chaser last season and this classy sort has to enter calculations even though he’ll surely come for this first run in 10 months. Minx Tiara has a handy weight on her back and has run well in both starts since coming back from a summer break.
