Formscan  - Elemental Eye bolted up on soft ground at Musselburgh last time and a 5lb penalty shouldn't be any barrier to further success if handling the switch to Tapeta, but a chance can be taken on SPEECHMAN. The French import was fourth over C&D a fortnight ago and was eased 1lb by the assessor. Further progress is possible, and the prospect of a stronger pace could suit too. That should also be of benefit to Fleur De Mer, who finished a place behind the selection in that same contest.
