Formscan By Gary Carson - GILLANE can make a winning start for Gavin Cromwell. The Shirocco gelding had some solid form in good bumpers for Kevin O’Donnell and there may be a bit more to come. He chased home a nice horse in Charismatic Kid at Navan in early December and may not have to improve much from that to score now. Burning Ability has been knocking on the door and looks like an obvious danger. He had Hey Now behind when third at Naas in mid-December but that rival is entitled to improve from his debut effort and could play a bigger role now.
