Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - When it comes to staying tests at Fairyhouse Witness Of Fashion can never be taken lightly. He’s fourteen now, but off bottom-weight with Liam McKenna up to claim seven pounds, dismiss the veteran at your peril. Other older horses that need strong consideration are recent winners Highest Benefit and Drummullagh Rocky but I’m going to focus in on the J P McManus pair, Castle Oliver and GOLDEN SUNSET. Castle Oliver might need the experience in his first handicap chase so Golden Sunset gets the nod. The selection recently switched into the McManus ownership and he’s worth another chance after unseating early last time. He’s much better off with the aforementioned Highest Benefit for a two and a quarter length beating at Tramore in December.
