FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - ASHDALE BOB could make it third time lucky here. His eye-catching debut effort at Punchestown has been mentioned plenty at this stage, and it wasn’t surprising to see the layers take no chances with him since at Naas. A 100/30 shot then on December 16th, Ashdale Bob ran keen but there wasn’t much wrong with his length and a half and length and a quarter third placing behind Tiger Tap Tap and Home By The Lee. Both of those have won since, as has the fourth, Jazzaway. Hopefully the selection won’t veer left like he did at Punchestown, going back to racing right-handed here. He’ll need to settle too, upped to an extended two and three quarter miles. Eden Flight, Atlantic Shore, Braeside, Bold Assassin and Vaucelet need to be kept in mind too.
