Formscan - ALLAHO has won seven of his last eight and hasn't actually tasted defeat since April 2021, when outpaced by Chacun Pour Soi over 2m at Punchestown. Admittedly, the dual Ryanair hero spent a good chunk of time on the sidelines, but he looked to have lost little of his sparkle when returning with a comfortable victory in the Clonmel Oil Chase and 3m around Kempton looks absolutely ideal for him. Bravemansgame defends his crown, having accounted for Royale Pagaille by 14 lengths last season, but that form was reversed in the Betfair Chase and the suspicion lingers that Paul Nicholls' star is still feeling the effects of a gallant performance for second in the Gold Cup. Big question marks surround Shishkin after he showed the darker side to his nature on his intended Ascot comeback. The Real Whacker flopped in the Paddy Power Gold Cup, but this is more his cup of tea and he could prove a nuisance to the selection at the head of affairs.
