The Workforce mare was staying on when finishing fourth in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown on her last start and going back up a bit in trip now should help. A mark of 110 doesn’t look harsh and Michael Kenneally’s claim is also a help. Whimsy ran really well in a competitive mares event at the Dublin Racing Festival last month and off just a pound higher mark she has to be respected. Missus Beeton was an easy winner at Down Royal last time. She got an 8lb hike, and this looks tougher, but she also has to be on the shortlist.%0A%0A

I’m always giving out that in the ‘100s’ every time she ran she was getting beat by lower ones, but she’s very consistent,. She should be left off for the winter, but she was in such good form you couldn’t. When she ran here the last day, she went on the soft ground so I said we’d come back at Christmas over two-miles-three (furlongs). Darragh O’Keeffe did a great job on her, but I wanted 7lb. I said to Calum that usually she’d be sitting and finding one or two too good, so to go on and go a gallop.
