Formscan By Donal Murphy - Competitive contest where a case can be made for each of the nine runners. The Robbie Hennessy trained MISTER FIRST is however sided with. He won in impressive fashion over the course and distance last month and he can be expected to follow up. The son of Trempolino went up eleven pounds in the handicap for that success but if Andrew Lynch adopts the same tactics as he did the last day, the reportedly tricky ride can make it two on the bounce. Missie Ella won at Thurles just before Christmas and finished second on her next start a few days later at Limerick. Carrying just 10-4 a good run can be expected from her. Two time course and distance winner Dactik is another who can make his presence felt. The Noel Brett trained gelding will be ridden by Paul Carberry and he should go close. Romanesco (changed owner since his last run) ran a cracker in the Paddy Power at Leopardstown over Christmas and reverting back to hurdles he is also worth consideration. The Tony Martin trained Living Next Door is another who can't be ignored with Ruby Walsh booked to ride.
