Formscan By Gary Carson - DEBUCHET looks a class act here and should prove very hard to beat if on his A-game. Mags Mullins' gelding was a very smart bumper horse, finishing second to the ill-fated Fayonagh at Cheltenham. A wind-op delayed his jumping debut last season and he was turned over first time at Leopardstown but ran a promising race to finish fourth. After that run he was pitched into Grade 1 company on his next three outings and was far from disgraced, finishing ninth in the Supreme Novice back at Cheltenham on his middle run. This is a significantly easier task now and it should prove a nice confidence booster. Macgiloney took a winners bumper in fine style at Bellewstown last time and looks a nice prospect but it's unusual to bump into a horse of the quality of Debuchet at this time of year. City Island also looked a nice sort when taking his bumper at Punchestown in May, but again he should find easier opportunities than this.
