Formscan By Alan Magee - A wide draw is far from ideal but ATLAS may overcome that burden having kept on nicely in the straight on both recent outings at this venue. The selection won over course and distance last year from a 4lb higher mark and comes here in good form with Joey Sheridan claiming a valuable 7lb. Recent Curragh winner Gee Rex is an obvious danger while Ellheidi also makes some appeal. She moved from Karl Burke over the winter and, having been prominent until inside the final furlong on her Irish debut in a Gowran Park maiden, reverts to a more suitable trip. Blue Wood ran with the choke out when reappearing at Roscommon. Hopefully that outing will knock some of the freshness off and he looks on a reasonable mark for his handicap debut.
