Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Many will likely latch on to Western Man, dropping in distance and back over hurdles, after he was mugged last time by Carry Each Other at Thurles. This fellow started off his racing life by winning a point-to-point but he has shown himself to be of limited enough ability on more than one occasion since and he wouldn't be for me particularly as he is now likely to carry the tag of favouritism. Of course it could be that as a mere six-year-old yet, Western Man may be progressing with experience and he'll become acquainted with Tony McCoy for the first-time now too. Ruby Walsh's presence on Bobsthewizard certainly catches the eye and the course winner will surely manage a prominent showing. However I'd prefer to take a chance on the consistent MINI BUDGET and maybe the addition of a tongue-strap could help him to get off the mark at the thirteenth attempt. Form behind Dactik, Lady Olwyn and Doc Hollywood, reads well at this level.
