Formscan By Tom Weekes - LOCAL GIRL was comprehensively beaten by Gypsy Woman in July but is 16lb better off and contests her first handicap. She seems ground-versatile, is suited by this distance and while she was again well held by the winner at Leopardstown last-time, seemed to take a small step forward (reversing form with Danvers Gold) and should compete from 71. Gypsy Woman may have been unsuited by soft ground at the Curragh last month but had previously beaten Danvers Gold and the selection at Roscommon. She is suited by conditions but has plenty weight. Coumshingaun finished ahead of Gypsy Woman at the Curragh and while also 5lb better off, might ideally prefer six furlongs. Kami succeeded on Sligo 'soft' while seven should stretch Sioux Spirit's stamina. Transcendental has well held on recent runs.
