Formscan By Mark Nunan - It’s probable that this trip is what PERCEVAL LEGALLOIS has been crying out for and he can reverse Killarney form with The Folkes Tiara. A bumper winner on last year’s Thyestes card at Gowran Park, Gavin Cromwell’s five-year-old was nearest at the finish when third on his first try at 2m4f at Fairyhouse and filled the same spot when a beaten favourite at Killarney last month. He was just over a length behind The Folkes Tiara on that occasion but can turn the tables over this extra half-mile. The latter, previously beaten twenty-one lengths on hurdling debut when third over this trip at Thurles, was caught in the last stride at Killarney and a 5lb claimer is now on board. Vibrance, by the sire of Saturday’s brilliant Derby winner, stays 2m well on the Flat and has run with credit on all four starts over hurdles. She is another who could improve for stepping up to this trip.
