Formscan  - The winner of two of his last three starts over 7f at Southwell, GRAND KARAT has flourished since being gelded and appeals strongly returning from a break off a potentially workable rating. The versatile son of Gleneagles was a close second on his only previous attempt over C&D and could go one better if he copes with stepping up in class. United Approach has won fresh from an absence in the past and is feared most on that basis, while Yorkshire and Blue Prince are others who could have a big say.
