Formscan  - Although Blue Hercules has yet to make a breakthrough victory, he has posted several creditable efforts in defeat this season and is expected to be involved at the business end. However, the three-year-old may have to play second fiddle once again, with smart hurdler LORD BYRON edging the vote. A runner-up on his most recent outing in a Grade 1 at Punchestown, he could have too much class reverting to the level. Impierious and Flagbearer are other key contenders.
