THE INKERMAN LONDON APPRENTICE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) Leaving the stalls Queen Roslyn (GB), placed second, jumped left-handed tightening Razzo Italiano (IRE), unplaced, for room causing the gelding to lose its early position.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Queen Roslyn (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 6 out furlongs involving the winner Cascade Hall (IRE), ridden by Lauren Young and Sir Griflet (IRE), placed third, ridden by Warren Fentiman.
The interference was found to be accidental as Young had been unable to prevent the hard pulling Cascade Hall (IRE) from shifting left-handed tightening Fentiman for room, causing him to take a sufficient check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 5 furlongs out involving the winner, Cascade Hall (IRE), ridden by Lauren Young and Free World (GB), unplaced, Mason Paetel.
The interference was found to be accidental as Cascade Hall (IRE) had improved into an insufficient gap, despite Young’s best efforts to restrain the gelding, and as a result moved Paetel wider off his intended line.
Following the race, Jake Dickson reported that Bollin Neil (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
Harry Vigors reported that Beaune (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
William Pyle reported that Spooky Wooky (IRE), stopped quickly in the final 2 furlongs and that he felt prudent to pull the gelding up.
