THE ALLINGTON HUGHES LAW HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) (DIV I) Permission was given for Dartrey (IRE) and Crazee Icon (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Ollie Sangster was fined £280 for doubly declaring Cool Molly (IRE) to run in the British EBF Fillies' Handicap (Class 2) at York, and the Allington Hughes Law Handicap (Div I) (Class 4) at Chester, and the filly ran in the former.
Ed Walker was cautioned as Norman Invasion (GB) had arrived in the parade ring wearing a red hood, instead of its declared hood to wear throughout the race.
A replacement hood was located and fitted to the gelding before going to the start.
Vidmiyr (IRE) made contact with the rails leaving the parade ring.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start, the colt was deemed fit to race.
Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that Runswick (IRE), placed second, hung right-handed in the home straight.
Joanna Mason reported that Ubetterseethis (GB), placed fourth, stumbled approximately 3 furlongs out.
