Batt back in winners' enclosure at Dundalk
Tyson too strong for claiming rivals as Hogan shares Dundalk title
I haven't been here in a while, but I had to drive the box as we had so many runners!. On ratings you would expect him to do that, but he has bits of issues. That's why we pitched him in there. If he wins, brilliant and if we lose him, we lose him. We are aware that there are some issues and we don't know when they are going to come again. He's a gent of a horse. If we keep him great - if not, we will say best of luck to the next people.
Dorcha does the business again at Dundalk
Beau runs out stylish winner under Burns
She's a nice filly and she has won here before. She has come down to a winning mark again. Once she goes over the 80, she might struggle. I don't know whether she even needed it (tongue-tie) or not, but I was just listening to her one morning at home on the gallops and, not a wind problem, but she might have been flipping her palate a bit or something. She was a bit noisy, so it was just to see would it help. She has won twice on the turf, and we were talking about even going over hurdles with her. She would be a grand mare for a summer hurdle. She barely get the two miles on the Flat, but she would get it over hurdles.
Whelan doubles up on Ohailbhic
It was a nice performance, and we have options on all-weather and turf. He'll go to the turf as long as it dries out and stops raining. He won well there and I was happy with that.
Brave springs shock on handicap debut
Some of them wouldn't like it (lights on handicap debut), but it didn't bother her tonight. There's plenty of improvement left in her as well. Definitely see her improving on turf the way she goes.
Jet turns over stablemate Queen
He is probably fitter than the filly and six furlongs I think stretches the filly a little bit. She is free in front, so I think she needs to drop to five furlongs until she settles. She put her head down and came back, and I think she is going to improve a lot after that race. If they do go hard over six he comes home well.
Holohan doubles up on another 33/1 shot!
They are delighted. We didn't actually think it would take this long. I think we got the tactics right today. She does show us a lot of speed at home and the last time we probably overdid it, we were riding her too handy. Today, we said we would just drop her in and ride her for luck. Reese gave her a fantastic ride, he's a great kid. I don't know how lucky I am to have him, he's riding plenty of winners for a lad only going a short space of time. Hopefully, this one is not finished. She is frustrating - she shows us a lot of things, and we did a few different jobs with her and it has worked out. She is in good form - wherever there is, we will show up.
