Maddox strikes again at Dundalk
Just the 12 (career) wins now, he is disappointing me!. He's a great old horse, and he's two for two in Laytown and we would like to go back and see if we could do three for three. It was a good pot and a good race. Five (furlongs) just depends on the pace, he does roll home well. He's in great nick and he is really, really well. We were going to run him over six last week and my brother Ed was the instigator of waiting - I'm glad we did now. I don't know what the plan is, that was the thoughts up to here. It was a good performance.
Two for Marnane and McAteer as Amemri hits four
He gave her a great ride - he is a very, very good rider. Tactically he is becoming much better aware and it is coming together. We just felt that she had a lot of weight on her back and I didn't really want to go the mile with that sort of weight on her back, so I just said we would take the chance with the six (furlongs). Seven is probably her trip, but she did it well today. The '65' bracket is gone now, but she is in great fettle. She is also quite effective on the turf and she is a lovely filly. There will be a turf campaign. We will end up giving her a break at some stage, but get her back for the middle of the summer. She has got a Dubawi on the top and she has got Pivotal on the bottom. She will make a lovely mare some day.
Currawood collects on Dundalk return
He's a nice horse and he ran to a good level last year. This looked a nice starting point for him - he's a good-actioned horse and I thought the track would suit. He seemed comfortable on it.
Boyne battles to another win
I know we were coming back in trip, but we rode him more positively tonight. He's a good horse and good horses can run over different distances. I reckon he should stay further, a mile and two horse. We are happy with the way that he is improving all the time. He has won on a little bit of give in the ground in Killarney last year. We will be hoping that he will be out somewhere (on the turf). We rolled the dice here tonight - we didn't intend coming here, but I was looking at the entries the other day and I didn't think there was going to be many (runners). It has paid off.
Comfort collects deserved victory
He has run really well in claimers the last few weeks and, if they were handicaps, he would have beaten the horses in front of him so he deserved it. He has rock-solid form and has been a super horse. Adam rode his first winner in those colours as an apprentice and that is his first winner as a pro tonight, so it is great. The Dooley boys have stuck by Adam and he has repaid them. Hopefully, we will have a bit of fun with this fella even on the grass. We'll give him a break and then we will head into the summer.

Annagh answers the call late on
She's a wee trier and, to be honest, it wasn't Plan A. When you have a boy with the experience of Wayne on, sure B, C, D and E are left up to him!. That's her second win and only her fifth run. She has only ever run here this winter, so we will go and explore other options on the turf. That would be the plan, I'd imagine. You'd imagine there is no reason why she will not get a bit further. We might even drop her back when we go to the turf. The boys are having a bit of fun there.
