Permission was given for Calvert (GB) to be mounted on the course and to go to post early.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one and a half furlongs out, involving the winner Macari (GB), ridden by Rose Dawes and Al Khawaneej River (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
Dawes was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift right- handed without sufficient correction, causing Osborne to take a check.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approximately one furlong out, when the winner, Macari (GB), ridden by Rose Dawes interfered with Cock And Bull (IRE) placed second, ridden by Kieran Shoemark.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Macari (GB)’s placing, as despite moving Cock And Bull (IRE) off its intended line approximately a furlong out, there was little momentum lost and the rider did not have to stop riding, furthermore the winner always appeared to be holding Cock And Bull (IRE) to the line, with the winning distance being half a length.
The interference was found to be accidental, as Macari (GB) shifted sharply left-handed before being quickly corrected.
Following the race, Laura Pearson reported that No More Bolero (GB), unplaced, was slowly away.
