Permission was given for Glenartney (GB) to wear a red hood to the start and for Lady Hayes (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside 2 furlongs out involving the winner, Bartzella (GB), ridden by Tom Marquand; Silence Please (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Probert and Save A Forest (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Callum Shepherd.
The interference was found to be accidental as Bartzella (GB) hung quickly left despite Marquand’s best efforts, causing both Silence Please (IRE) and Save A Forest (IRE) to be tightened for room and checked for several strides.
Following the race, Tom Marquand reported that the winner, Bartzella (GB), hung left under pressure and the Veterinary Officer reported that the filly had been struck into on its left hind.
The Veterinary Officer also reported that Glenartney (GB), placed fourth, was struck into on its left hind.
