Forever A Diamond (IRE), drawn 9, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong out when Airshow (GB), placed second, ridden by Morgan Cole, interfered with Monsieur Patat (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tyler Heard.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Airshow (GB) had continually hung right-handed despite Cole’s best efforts to correct the gelding, causing Heard to momentarily ease Monsieur Patat (GB) in order to continue his run.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when Airshow (GB), placed second, ridden by Morgan Cole, interfered with Al Ameen (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ross Coakley.
Cole was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to drift right-handed without correction, causing Coakley to be tightened for room on the rail.
Following the race, Kieran Shoemark reported that Istanblue (FR), unplaced, stopped quickly.
