The Raceday Stewards enquired into the riders first approach to the starter involving The Bosses Order, ridden by R.J. Condon, where it appeared he may have failed to comply with the instructions given by the starter. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R.J. Condon in breach of Rule 208(v)(b) and having considered his record in this regard (third offence), they suspended him for three racedays

When considering a penalty, the Raceday Stewards did not take into account the riders first breach of the same rule in this race.
A hurdle for four and five years old only, maidens at starting that are EBF eligible and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) other than one I.N.H. flat race or N.H. flat race value not more than #14,000 and that (A) have been purchased as a foal or yearling for #15,000 or less at a recognised N.H. Sale or as an unraced two, three or four year old for #30,000 or less at a recognised N.H. Sale OR (B) whose sire established one or more sales at a recognised N.H. Sale in the year of foaling with a median price of not more than #15,000 Weights - 4-y-o 11st 11lbs 5-y-o 11st 12lbs. Mares allowed 7lbs.
