Leaving the stalls, Princess Mia (IRE), placed fourth, jumped left-handed, resulting in Dandy Khan (IRE), unplaced, being taken off its intended line and losing its position, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Princess Mia (IRE).
The winner, Thiscouldbefun (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 07 October 2025, where the filly finished thirteenth of fourteen runners, beaten by 18 ¼ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of J S Moore could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form, other than Thiscouldbefun (IRE) may have benefitted from the step back up in trip to a mile, having raced over 7 furlongs on its previous start.
Thiscouldbefun (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Darragh Keenan reported that Warrnambool (GER), placed third, was denied a clear run approximately 1 furlong out; and William Cox reported that Dandy Khan (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference shortly after leaving the stalls.
