Molly Gunn the rider of Royal Jet (GB), drawn 6, was slow to remove the blindfold.
Gunn was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
Gunn’s explanation that the blind had become caught in the bridle and therefore took a second attempt to remove was noted.
An enquiry was held to consider interference from inside 1 ½ furlongs out involving Raqraaq (USA), placed third, ridden by Charles Bishop and Taskheer (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jack Mitchell.
Bishop was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed without timely correction carrying Taskheer (IRE) off its intended line.
Following the race, William Cox reported that Dandy Khan (IRE), placed fourth, was slowly away.
