Approximately 1 furlong out, Flash Harry (GB), placed second, hung badly left-handed despite its rider’s best efforts to correct the gelding, taking In The City (GB), placed third, off its intended line, which in turn caused Hi Lord (GB), placed fourth, to become momentarily short of room and its rider having to steady, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Flash Harry (GB) or In The City (GB).
Following the race, Georgia Dobie reported that Dreamcrafter (FR), unplaced, stumbled leaving the stalls and Luke Morris reported that Flash Harry (GB), placed second, hung left-handed.
