Approximately half a furlong out, the winner, Sports Coach (IRE), shifted slightly right-handed at the same time as Ay Gee Ell (IRE), placed third, edged marginally left-handed resulting in Reigning Profit (IRE), placed fifth, becoming short of room and its rider taking a check.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Sports Coach (IRE) or Ay Gee Ell (IRE).
