An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final 1 ½ furlongs involving Golden Flame (IRE), placed second, ridden by Joe Fanning, Doublethetrouble (GB), placed third, ridden by Kaiya Fraser and Saxon Star (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ben Robinson.
Fanning was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed Golden Flame (IRE) to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, causing Doublethetrouble (GB) to be taken off its intended line which resulted in Robinson having to ease Saxon Star (IRE).
Following the race, Ben Robinson reported that Saxon Star (IRE), placed fifth, suffered interference approaching 1 ½ furlongs out and Rhys Elliott reported that Man Of Action (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
