An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out involving the winner, Eeetee (IRE), ridden by Rossa Ryan, Thunder Max (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Kevin Stott, and Splendent (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Cieren Fallon.
Ryan was suspended for 7 days for improper riding as he manoeuvred his mount right-handed when it ought to have been obvious to him that such a manoeuvre would cause interference to Thunder Max (GB), which was carried off its intended line and across the running of Splendent (IRE), resulting in Fallon having to take a check off the heels of Thunder Max (GB).
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Sea Grey (GB), placed second, hung both ways under pressure; David Allan reported that Highwaygrey (GB), placed third, was denied a clear run approximately 1 ½ furlongs out and Cieren Fallon reported that Splendent (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference approximately one furlong out.
