Permission was given for Muddy Mooy (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood, and for Chic Colombine (FR), Crimson Advocate (USA), and Protest (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Arisaig (GB) wore earplugs which were removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference when leaving the stalls, involving Arisaig (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Callum Shepherd, and Chic Colombine (FR), unplaced, ridden by Hector Crouch.
The interference was found to be accidental as when Shepherd removed his blindfold, Arisaig (GB) jumped right- handed, causing him to momentarily lose his balance, resulting in him being unable to correct his mount from further shifting right-handed, causing Chic Colombine (FR) to clip heels and stumble as a result.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Arisaig (GB), placed fifth, was denied a clear run approximately half a furlong out.
Georgia Dobie reported that Betty Clover (GB), placed second, hung right- handed.
Jim Crowley reported that Bright Thunder (IRE), placed third, stumbled when leaving the stalls.
